The game was mostly controlled by AEK Betsson. JSF Nanterre managed to win fourth quarter29-22 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AEK Betsson looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Hunter Hale (192-1997, college: Winthrop) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 assists. His fellow American import forward Grant Golden (208-1998, college: Richmond) helped adding 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). AEK Betsson's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Justin Tillman (203-1996, college: VCU) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Milan Barbitch (197-2001) scored 14 points and 5 assists.
